WoE is a RPG, set in an alternate reality where your own neighborhood is home to peril and tragedy.
A Game of WoE
Your group, sheltered within the Dome of St. Louis, prepares for yet another mission abroad. Your target is a two-bit bandit harassing the supply chain up and down the Mississippi. But leaving the safety of the Dome means navigating the hostile Earth, defending yourself from packs of voracious Scabs, and relying on personal respirators to keep the noxious fumes at bay. Your party is divided, but doing jobs like these is the only thing that secures your place inside the Dome. So you strap on your masks, grab your gats, and enter the Wounded Earth.
DETAILS AND FEATURES
WoE is a party-based tabletop game that features an original dice system and a compelling character creation process. Classes are based on traditional RPG roles but have been uniquely modified to this game world. Bionic implants, neurological ticks, and make-shift tech offer opportunities for character development, as well as role-play.
The game is set in cities across the modern world. Pre-made campaigns will be available for specific cities, but players are encouraged to Wound their own cities and communities. Safety is only found in certain towns, settlements, and Domes. Anywhere other than those safe havens is potentially dangerous territory. This provides players with the traditional feeling of "leaving town" in a modern setting, which is seldom achieved.
Even those that survive in WoE cannot remain unchanged. Noxious emissions altered reality, humanity, and its gods. Paranormal occurrences, supernatural powers, and occult workings are commonplace. Players wield technology alongside magic, though neither is reliable or consistent. Dark horrors lurk in the forests, crags, and other forgotten places of the world.
